After nearly a decade photographing weddings throughout Calgary, Banff, Canmore, and across the rest of Alberta as well as throughout British Columbia (especially Vancouver Island, Tofino and the Sunshine Coast) I have come to realize that my heart lies in photographing the magic of micro weddings and adventurous elopements for couples who are intentional, non-traditional and wildly in love. For the majority of your wedding day I shoot documentary style. focusing on capturing authentic moments as they happen, photographing loved ones expressions and your joy and anticipation, while not interfering too much into the flow of the day.
During your Calgary wedding photography portrait session I lean more towards a mix of candid and fine art photography. I like to use the beauty of nature, light and shadow, or the environment to compliment and tell the story about your relationship with your partner.
